2025 Real Estate Housing Market
2025 home sales data was recently released by FHFA. The year came in at 3.9% appreciation with positive trends in three out of four quarters. That’s much stronger than the
average for the pacific region of -0.13% and the state’s 0.46%. In fact it’s not far off of making the top 20 metro areas (4.48% – 8.89%).
Looking at Lane County (excluding Florence) our current average home sale price is $470,200 with a total market time of 62 days and 675 active listings.

On a Personal Note…
Seemingly out of nowhere, while hanging out with friends just after the new year, Lindsay announced that she wanted to run a half marathon. Prior to that her idea of a long run was a 7-step approach on the pole vault runway!
She and I signed up for the Eugene half marathon and have been training diligently for 4 months! It’s been wonderful to train together and to watch her achieve new personal bests with nearly every workout. By the time you read this we will have completed the race. Don’t forget to ask us how we did next time you see us. With the onset of spring we’ve started going to track meets, softball games and baseball games on campus and always enjoy these special events together as a family. Oh, and we moved and turned our front lawn into a baseball infield, just for good measure…
